About the Boosters

Columbus City Schools is one of the few districts in central Ohio that does not require participation fees for sports known as “pay-to-play.” However, there are still expenses that our teams and athletes incur in order to compete.
That’s where the Athletic Boosters come in. We provide team support – paying for various expenses that coaches and teams need to be successful during a season.
The Boosters also provide annual monetary awards for graduating student athletes what have demonstrated excellence in academics and in sports as well as free senior banners.
Whetstone High School has the good fortune of having active parent support. Let’s continue this tradition. By donating a few hours of your time each year makes a big difference. We support our teams through the Booster Drive in the fall and concession sales during each season. These fundraisers are only successful with the help of our dedicated volunteers.

Like Meetings? Trick question, no one does, but we guarantee that our meetings will be on time and have a purpose. Join us the last Monday of every month.
